The VE.Can SmartSolar MPPT charger uses the latest and fastest technology to convert energy from photovoltaic systems into energy that optimally charges battery banks.

The SmartSolar charge regulator allows you to recharge even a seriously exhausted battery. It works already at zero battery voltage, provided that the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.

MPPT: Super-fast maximum power point tracking

The VE.Can SmartSolar MPPT charger connects to a 150 or 250 V photovoltaic system and automatically detects and charges a 12, 24, 36 or 48 V battery pack with a current of 70 to 100 A, depending on the model.

Charging settings are fully programmable and can even be adapted to different types of batteries, e.g. lead-acid, lithium, and others.

Control your charger remotely

The MPPT VE.Can SmartSolar charger can be remotely controlled and configured using the VictronConnect app and Bluetooth connectivity. It allows you to configure the device, manage it and access the most important information, such as historical data, battery voltage and current, and PV voltage and current.

Daisy chaining additional devices

The VE.Can SmartSolar charger is equipped with several CAN bus sockets. They enable connection with additional VE.Can SmartSolar chargers. These additional devices are connected in a daisy chain with an RJ45 cable.

When connected together, all individual VE.Can SmartSolar chargers synchronize their internal charging variables. They can also send their data to the GX monitoring device with one cable.

Remote monitoring and control

If your GX device is connected to the internet, the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) provides access to the full power of your solar charger(s).

SmartSolar color display

The VE.Can SmartSolar charger is also equipped with a VE.Direct port, just like our other MPPT solar chargers. This socket allows monitoring of a single device or network control. The remote on/off connector can be controlled by an intermediate device, such as a lithium battery. An optional, connectable LCD display/controller provides real-time access to data and allows you to configure and manage the device directly from its interface.
