General description-
The SmartSolar MPPT charger is an innovative solution that allows you to effectively obtain electricity from photovoltaic panels and store it in batteries. Thanks to the use of the latest technologies, the SmartSolar charger is able to maximize the amount of energy obtained and transmit it in an intelligent way to fully charge the batteries in the shortest possible time. Moreover, SmartSolar takes care of the batteries, which extends their life.
The SmartSolar charge controller is able to recharge even a seriously depleted battery, operating at zero voltage, provided that the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.
Thanks to MPPT technology, the charger constantly monitors the voltage and output current of photovoltaic panels, which allows for guaranteed acquisition and storage of every portion of available energy. MPPT is particularly effective when there is partial cloud cover or constant changes in light intensity.
Additionally, the SmartSolar MPPT charger allows you to remotely monitor and control its functions using built-in Bluetooth Smart and the VictronConnect app. When the installation is connected to the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal, it provides access to the full power of MPPT from anywhere, at any time. Both services are available free of charge. For remote installations, even when there is no internet connection or telephone signal nearby, you can monitor the MPPT charger by pairing via Bluetooth with a LoRaWAN device, which is available as an option and operates over a large, long-range network.
